Your mail setup will vary depending on your mail client and the type of account you want to use. WebSprockets offers two kinds of accounts:- IMAP - This is the preferred method. With IMAP, your e-mail is stored on our servers, instead of downloaded to your computer like with POP. This allows you to access all your e-mail from any system with an IMAP mail client, or through our webmail system.
- POP - This can be easier to set up than IMAP, but doesn't offer the same level of functionality. With POP, your e-mail is downloaded to one computer and deleted from our servers; therefore, it's only available on the system the account is set up on.
When setting up your Email software, you will need to know the following information. Please enter the information into your Email software exactly as it is shown here:
- Incoming Mail Server (POP3 or IMAP): mail.websprockets.com
- Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.websprockets.com
(It is not required you use our outgoing mail server, but if you do you will need to select the SSL option and set the Port to 26. Consult your Internet service provider for an alternate outgoing mail server if you choose not to use ours or are having problems using ours.)
For your convienence, we've provided the following step-by-step instructions on how to set up several of the popular e-mail programs on the market. WebSprockets highly recommends Thunderbird for your Email software. Please keep in mind that if you have an older or newer version of the e-mail programs listed below, the information you're setting up will still essentially be the same. Even though the windows may not look the same, the information you'll need to input is the same. Simply compare the appropriate setup guide below to your program and put the right information into the right places in the program you're using.

Webmail Support
WebSprockets also provides a webmail interface, which can be used while you are on the go or anywhere you can get Internet access with a Web browser. You WILL need your Username and Password to be able to access your Email account from our Webmail system.The address for our Webmail system is: http://mail.websprockets.com/
